Cold Storage Planning in Howardwick

1. 1. Past emergencies and recovery needs

FEMA lists 9 federally declared major disasters that included Donley County, Texas. The most recent are Severe Winter Storms (severe ice storm, declared February 19, 2021, disaster 4586); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared March 25, 2020, disaster 4485); Severe Winter Storms, Tornadoes, Straight-Line Winds, And Flooding (severe storm, declared February 9, 2016, disaster 4255). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. 2. Major construction

With 6 restaurants and drinking places in Donley County, new construction here often ends in a kitchen or cold room that must open on a fixed date. If the walk-in is late, rented cold storage keeps the opening on schedule. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.

3. 3. Major renovation

Picture a restaurant in Howardwick that closes its kitchen for a rebuild. A mobile kitchen, a dishwashing trailer, and a refrigerated container at the back door could keep the doors open while the permanent kitchen is gutted and rebuilt. This is a scenario, not a past job.

4. 4. Emergency equipment access

Emergency response in Texas is coordinated by the Texas Division of Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Donley County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.

5. 5. Local rental costs

Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Howardwick, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
