Refrigeration Rental Options in Amarillo, TX
Amarillo is one of Texas's larger communities, with about 204,000 residents (Census Bureau 2024 estimate), so its hospitals, distribution centers, restaurants, and event venues use more cold storage than any one building holds. Typical customers in Amarillo include hospitals, warehouses and distribution centers, and food processors.
Two products cover most Amarillo calls. A refrigeration trailer is the quick answer: a walk-in cooler or freezer that arrives on wheels and plugs in. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F and -5°F, which are listed points rather than guarantees for every load. A refrigerated container suits storage that stays for weeks, in 20, 24, or 40 foot lengths.
Before delivery to Amarillo, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Amarillo
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 8 federally declared major disasters that included Potter County, Texas. The most recent are Severe Winter Storms (severe ice storm, declared February 19, 2021, disaster 4586); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared March 25, 2020, disaster 4485); Wildfires (fire, declared July 1, 2011, disaster 1999). 2. Major construction
A warehouse, school addition, or plant built anywhere between Amarillo and Canyon, about 15 miles away, can outrun its permanent refrigeration. A leased container or trailer fills the gap until the building is ready. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a hospital in Amarillo that rebuilds its food-service area. A refrigerated container and a dishwashing trailer could keep patient meals moving through the construction. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in Texas is coordinated by the Texas Division of Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Potter County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Amarillo, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
