Refrigeration Rental Options in Edgemoor, DE
Edgemoor is a community of about 6,640 residents (2020 Census count) in New Castle County, where one cooler failure can leave a grocery, school cafeteria, or restaurant without cold storage. Typical customers in Edgemoor include restaurants and caterers, grocery stores, and nursing homes and care facilities.
Two products cover most Edgemoor calls. A refrigeration trailer is the quick answer: a walk-in cooler or freezer that arrives on wheels and plugs in. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F and -5°F, which are listed points rather than guarantees for every load. A refrigerated container suits storage that stays for weeks, in 20, 24, or 40 foot lengths.
Before delivery to Edgemoor, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Edgemoor
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 11 federally declared major disasters that included New Castle County, Delaware. The most recent are Remnants Of Hurricane Ida (hurricane, declared October 24, 2021, disaster 4627); Tropical Storm Isaias (hurricane, declared October 2, 2020, disaster 4566); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared April 5, 2020, disaster 4526). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
With 1,233 restaurants and drinking places in New Castle County, new construction here often ends in a kitchen or cold room that must open on a fixed date. If the walk-in is late, rented cold storage keeps the opening on schedule. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a restaurant in Edgemoor that closes its kitchen for a rebuild. A mobile kitchen, a dishwashing trailer, and a refrigerated container at the back door could keep the doors open while the permanent kitchen is gutted and rebuilt. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
If a storm or outage closes roads near Edgemoor, check with the Delaware Emergency Management Agency and the emergency management office for New Castle County for public guidance. Our trucks follow a route we plan with you in advance, and we do not claim an official staging route to any site.
5. Local rental costs
Pricing for Edgemoor starts from $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in refrigeration trailers, and from $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers. The final figure depends on the delivery distance, the size and temperature you need, and how long you rent. See the price list or request a quote.
