Refrigeration trailers roll in, level out, and plug in as walk-in coolers or freezers. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F for coolers and -5°F for freezers; those are the equipment’s listed points, not a promise for every load or weather condition.
Before delivery to Nellysford, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Nellysford
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 19 federally declared major disasters that included Nelson County, Virginia. The most recent are Tropical Storm Helene (tropical storm, declared October 1, 2024, disaster 4831); Severe Winter Storm And Snowstorm (severe storm, declared March 11, 2022, disaster 4644); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared April 2, 2020, disaster 4512). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
Nelson County covers about 471 square miles, and building sites spread across that area rarely have a finished kitchen or walk-in cooler on day one. A crew on a Nellysford job may need cold storage for lunches, medications, or deliveries before permanent power is in. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a hotel in Nellysford that renovates its banquet kitchen before a busy season. A mobile kitchen and a refrigerated container could keep breakfast and events running through the work. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in Virginia is coordinated by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Nelson County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Nellysford, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
