Cold Storage Planning in Welch
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 24 federally declared major disasters that included Craig County, Oklahoma. The most recent are Severe Storms, Straight-Line Winds, Tornadoes, And Flooding (tornado, declared April 30, 2024, disaster 4776); Severe Storms, Straight-Line Winds, And Tornadoes (severe storm, declared July 19, 2023, disaster 4721); Severe Winter Storms (severe ice storm, declared February 24, 2021, disaster 4587). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
With 24 nursing and residential care facilities in Craig County, new construction here often ends in a kitchen or cold room that must open on a fixed date. If the walk-in is late, rented cold storage keeps the opening on schedule. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a care facility in Welch that replaces its kitchen. Residents still eat three meals a day, so a mobile kitchen with a walk-in cooler could carry the menu until the new kitchen is finished. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
If a storm or outage closes roads near Welch, check with Oklahoma Emergency Management and the emergency management office for Craig County for public guidance. Our trucks follow a route we plan with you in advance, and we do not claim an official staging route to any site.
5. Local rental costs
Pricing for Welch starts from $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in refrigeration trailers, and from $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers. The final figure depends on the delivery distance, the size and temperature you need, and how long you rent. See the price list or request a quote.
