Refrigerated container rentals fit long projects that need a lot of cold space for weeks or months, and come in 20, 24, and 40 foot lengths. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F for coolers and -5°F for freezers; those are the equipment’s listed points, not a promise for every load or weather condition.
Before delivery to Nebo, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Nebo
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 12 federally declared major disasters that included McDowell County, North Carolina. The most recent are Tropical Storm Helene (tropical storm, declared September 28, 2024, disaster 4827); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared March 25, 2020, disaster 4487); Tropical Storm Michael (hurricane, declared January 31, 2019, disaster 4412). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
A warehouse, school addition, or plant built anywhere between Nebo and Marion, about 6 miles away, can outrun its permanent refrigeration. A leased container or trailer fills the gap until the building is ready. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a care facility in Nebo that replaces its kitchen. Residents still eat three meals a day, so a mobile kitchen with a walk-in cooler could carry the menu until the new kitchen is finished. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in North Carolina is coordinated by North Carolina Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for McDowell County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Nebo, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
