Cold Storage Planning in Dellview
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 9 federally declared major disasters that included Gaston County, North Carolina. The most recent are Tropical Storm Helene (tropical storm, declared September 28, 2024, disaster 4827); Severe Storms, Tornadoes, And Flooding (severe storm, declared May 8, 2020, disaster 4543); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared March 25, 2020, disaster 4487). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
Gaston County covers about 356 square miles, and building sites spread across that area rarely have a finished kitchen or walk-in cooler on day one. A crew on a Dellview job may need cold storage for lunches, medications, or deliveries before permanent power is in. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a care facility in Dellview that replaces its kitchen. Residents still eat three meals a day, so a mobile kitchen with a walk-in cooler could carry the menu until the new kitchen is finished. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in North Carolina is coordinated by North Carolina Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Gaston County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Dellview, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
