Cold Storage Planning in Cape Colony
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 12 federally declared major disasters that included Chowan County, North Carolina. The most recent are Hurricane Isaias (hurricane, declared October 14, 2020, disaster 4568); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared March 25, 2020, disaster 4487); Hurricane Dorian (hurricane, declared October 4, 2019, disaster 4465). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
With 8 private hospitals in Chowan County, new construction here often ends in a kitchen or cold room that must open on a fixed date. If the walk-in is late, rented cold storage keeps the opening on schedule. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a hospital in Cape Colony that rebuilds its food-service area. A refrigerated container and a dishwashing trailer could keep patient meals moving through the construction. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in North Carolina is coordinated by North Carolina Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Chowan County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Cape Colony, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
