Refrigeration Rental Options in Meridian, MS
Meridian has about 33,500 residents (Census Bureau 2024 estimate) and the hospitals, schools, grocers, and food businesses that come with a regional hub, any of which can lose cold storage without warning. Typical customers in Meridian include hospitals, grocery stores, and hotels and event venues.
Two products cover most Meridian calls. A refrigeration trailer is the quick answer: a walk-in cooler or freezer that arrives on wheels and plugs in. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F and -5°F, which are listed points rather than guarantees for every load. A refrigerated container suits storage that stays for weeks, in 20, 24, or 40 foot lengths.
Before delivery to Meridian, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Meridian
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 17 federally declared major disasters that included Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The most recent are Severe Winter Storm (winter storm, declared February 6, 2026, disaster 4899); Hurricane Ida (hurricane, declared October 22, 2021, disaster 4626); Severe Winter Storms (severe ice storm, declared May 4, 2021, disaster 4598). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
Lauderdale County covers about 704 square miles, and building sites spread across that area rarely have a finished kitchen or walk-in cooler on day one. A crew on a Meridian job may need cold storage for lunches, medications, or deliveries before permanent power is in. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a hospital in Meridian that rebuilds its food-service area. A refrigerated container and a dishwashing trailer could keep patient meals moving through the construction. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
If a storm or outage closes roads near Meridian, check with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency and the emergency management office for Lauderdale County for public guidance. Our trucks follow a route we plan with you in advance, and we do not claim an official staging route to any site.
5. Local rental costs
Pricing for Meridian starts from $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in refrigeration trailers, and from $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers. The final figure depends on the delivery distance, the size and temperature you need, and how long you rent. See the price list or request a quote.
