Refrigeration Rental Options in Caledonia, MS
Caledonia is a smaller community in Lowndes County, where one cooler failure can leave a grocery, school cafeteria, or restaurant without cold storage and no nearby backup. Typical customers in Caledonia include grocery stores, nursing homes and care facilities, and food distributors.
Choose by how long and how much. For a short emergency, a walk-in refrigeration trailer is usually the faster setup. For months of storage or a large inventory, a cold storage container in 20, 24, or 40 feet gives more room. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F for coolers and -5°F for freezers.
For a Caledonia site, plan a level area, a clear route for a tow vehicle, and 220V single-phase power (40 to 60 amps for our 20-foot units). If power is limited, a container with a generator set may be the answer. We confirm placement and power before delivery.

Cold Storage Planning in Caledonia
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 19 federally declared major disasters that included Lowndes County, Mississippi. The most recent are Severe Winter Storm (winter storm, declared February 6, 2026, disaster 4899); Hurricane Ida (hurricane, declared October 22, 2021, disaster 4626); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared April 5, 2020, disaster 4528). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
Lowndes County covers about 505 square miles, and building sites spread across that area rarely have a finished kitchen or walk-in cooler on day one. A crew on a Caledonia job may need cold storage for lunches, medications, or deliveries before permanent power is in. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a grocery store in Caledonia that remodels its cooler wall. Refrigeration trailers parked behind the store could hold dairy and produce for the weeks the cases are out of service. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
For a Caledonia emergency, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency coordinates at the state level and the emergency management office for Lowndes County at the local level. Our deliveries are our own: we plan the route, the gate, and the power with you, and we do not claim any official staging route.
5. Local rental costs
A rental here begins at $995 per month for a refrigerated container or walk-in trailer. Mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers begin at $4,995 per month. Distance to Caledonia, power, temperature, and term decide the quote we confirm before anything ships. See the price list or request a quote.
