Refrigeration Rental Options in South Vacherie, LA
South Vacherie is a smaller community in St. James Parish, where one cooler failure can leave a grocery, school cafeteria, or restaurant without cold storage and no nearby backup. Typical customers in South Vacherie include warehouses and distribution centers, food processors, and restaurants and caterers.
Refrigerated container rentals fit long projects that need a lot of cold space for weeks or months, and come in 20, 24, and 40 foot lengths. Refrigeration trailers roll in, level out, and plug in as walk-in coolers or freezers. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F for coolers and -5°F for freezers; those are the equipment’s listed points, not a promise for every load or weather condition.
For a South Vacherie site, plan a level area, a clear route for a tow vehicle, and 220V single-phase power (40 to 60 amps for our 20-foot units). If power is limited, a container with a generator set may be the answer. We confirm placement and power before delivery.

Cold Storage Planning in South Vacherie
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 25 federally declared major disasters that included St. James Parish, Louisiana. The most recent are Hurricane Francine (hurricane, declared September 16, 2024, disaster 4817); Hurricane Ida (hurricane, declared August 29, 2021, disaster 4611); Severe Winter Storms (severe ice storm, declared March 9, 2021, disaster 4590). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
St. James Parish covers about 238 square miles, and building sites spread across that area rarely have a finished kitchen or walk-in cooler on day one. A crew on a South Vacherie job may need cold storage for lunches, medications, or deliveries before permanent power is in. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a warehouse in South Vacherie that takes on a grocery contract before its cold room is ready. Leased refrigerated containers could cover the first months. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
For a South Vacherie emergency, the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness coordinates at the state level and the emergency management office for St. James Parish at the local level. Our deliveries are our own: we plan the route, the gate, and the power with you, and we do not claim any official staging route.
5. Local rental costs
A rental here begins at $995 per month for a refrigerated container or walk-in trailer. Mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers begin at $4,995 per month. Distance to South Vacherie, power, temperature, and term decide the quote we confirm before anything ships. See the price list or request a quote.
