Refrigeration Rental Options in Kilbourne, LA
Kilbourne is a smaller community in West Carroll Parish, where one cooler failure can leave a grocery, school cafeteria, or restaurant without cold storage and no nearby backup. Typical customers in Kilbourne include grocery stores, nursing homes and care facilities, and restaurants and caterers.
Choose by how long and how much. For a short emergency, a walk-in refrigeration trailer is usually the faster setup. For months of storage or a large inventory, a cold storage container in 20, 24, or 40 feet gives more room. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F for coolers and -5°F for freezers.
For a Kilbourne site, plan a level area, a clear route for a tow vehicle, and 220V single-phase power (40 to 60 amps for our 20-foot units). If power is limited, a container with a generator set may be the answer. We confirm placement and power before delivery.

Cold Storage Planning in Kilbourne
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 16 federally declared major disasters that included West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The most recent are Severe Winter Storm (winter storm, declared February 18, 2026, disaster 4900); Hurricane Ida (hurricane, declared August 29, 2021, disaster 4611); Severe Winter Storms (severe ice storm, declared March 9, 2021, disaster 4590). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
With 5 grocery stores in West Carroll Parish, new construction here often ends in a kitchen or cold room that must open on a fixed date. If the walk-in is late, rented cold storage keeps the opening on schedule. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a grocery store in Kilbourne that remodels its cooler wall. Refrigeration trailers parked behind the store could hold dairy and produce for the weeks the cases are out of service. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
For a Kilbourne emergency, the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness coordinates at the state level and the emergency management office for West Carroll Parish at the local level. Our deliveries are our own: we plan the route, the gate, and the power with you, and we do not claim any official staging route.
5. Local rental costs
A rental here begins at $995 per month for a refrigerated container or walk-in trailer. Mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers begin at $4,995 per month. Distance to Kilbourne, power, temperature, and term decide the quote we confirm before anything ships. See the price list or request a quote.
