Refrigeration Rental Options in Summer Shade, KY
Summer Shade is a smaller community in Metcalfe County, where one cooler failure can leave a grocery, school cafeteria, or restaurant without cold storage and no nearby backup. Typical customers in Summer Shade include hospitals and nursing homes, food distributors and grocers, and construction and renovation crews.
Two products cover most Summer Shade calls. A refrigeration trailer is the quick answer: a walk-in cooler or freezer that arrives on wheels and plugs in. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F and -5°F, which are listed points rather than guarantees for every load. A refrigerated container suits storage that stays for weeks, in 20, 24, or 40 foot lengths.
Before delivery to Summer Shade, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Summer Shade

2. Major construction
Large projects in Kentucky tend to run on temporary power and shifting schedules, and Summer Shade is no exception. Rented refrigeration can follow the schedule when a permanent cooler cannot. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a restaurant in Summer Shade that closes its kitchen for a rebuild. A mobile kitchen, a dishwashing trailer, and a refrigerated container at the back door could keep the doors open while the permanent kitchen is gutted and rebuilt. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in Kentucky is coordinated by Kentucky Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Metcalfe County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Summer Shade, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
