Before delivery to Petersburg, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Petersburg
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 7 federally declared major disasters that included Boone County, Kentucky. The most recent are Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared March 28, 2020, disaster 4497); Severe Storms, Tornadoes, And Flooding (severe storm, declared May 4, 2011, disaster 1976); Severe Winter Storm And Flooding (severe ice storm, declared February 5, 2009, disaster 1818). 2. Major construction
A warehouse, school addition, or plant built anywhere between Petersburg and Florence, about 12 miles away, can outrun its permanent refrigeration. A leased container or trailer fills the gap until the building is ready. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a warehouse in Petersburg that takes on a grocery contract before its cold room is ready. Leased refrigerated containers could cover the first months. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
Emergency response in Kentucky is coordinated by Kentucky Emergency Management, working with the emergency management office for Boone County. Public emergency operations are separate from our own delivery arrangements. We plan the truck route and site access with you, and we do not claim a published staging route for any site.
5. Local rental costs
Starting prices: $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in trailers, $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens, and $4,995 per month for dishwashing trailers. We add the delivery distance to Petersburg, the setup, and your rental length to give a firm quote. See the price list or request a quote.
