Refrigeration Rental Options in Long Neck, DE
Long Neck is a smaller community in Sussex County, where one cooler failure can leave a grocery, school cafeteria, or restaurant without cold storage and no nearby backup. Typical customers in Long Neck include hotels and event venues, restaurants and caterers, and nursing homes and care facilities.
Refrigerated container rentals fit long projects that need a lot of cold space for weeks or months, and come in 20, 24, and 40 foot lengths. Refrigeration trailers roll in, level out, and plug in as walk-in coolers or freezers. Our 20-foot units are listed at 15°F for coolers and -5°F for freezers; those are the equipment’s listed points, not a promise for every load or weather condition.
Before delivery to Long Neck, tell us about gates, low wires, tight turns, and how far the unit sits from power. Our 20-foot units are listed at 220V single phase, 40 to 60 amps, and a container with a generator set can cover sites without enough power.

Cold Storage Planning in Long Neck
1. Past emergencies and recovery needs
FEMA lists 14 federally declared major disasters that included Sussex County, Delaware. The most recent are Severe Winter Storm (winter storm, declared May 29, 2026, disaster 4916); Covid-19 Pandemic (biological, declared April 5, 2020, disaster 4526); Severe Winter Storm And Snowstorm (snowstorm, declared March 16, 2016, disaster 4265). When an event like that interrupts power or closes a building, a refrigerated trailer or container can protect stored food and supplies while repairs are made. 2. Major construction
Sussex County covers about 936 square miles, and building sites spread across that area rarely have a finished kitchen or walk-in cooler on day one. A crew on a Long Neck job may need cold storage for lunches, medications, or deliveries before permanent power is in. This is an example of the need, not a statement that we serve a particular project.
3. Major renovation
Picture a hotel in Long Neck that renovates its banquet kitchen before a busy season. A mobile kitchen and a refrigerated container could keep breakfast and events running through the work. This is a scenario, not a past job.
4. Emergency equipment access
If a storm or outage closes roads near Long Neck, check with the Delaware Emergency Management Agency and the emergency management office for Sussex County for public guidance. Our trucks follow a route we plan with you in advance, and we do not claim an official staging route to any site.
5. Local rental costs
Pricing for Long Neck starts from $995 per month for refrigerated containers and walk-in refrigeration trailers, and from $4,995 per month for mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers. The final figure depends on the delivery distance, the size and temperature you need, and how long you rent. See the price list or request a quote.
